Association de Coordination Technique Agricole

ACTA is an umbrella organisation head of a French network gathering 25 Agricultural Technical Institutes (ATI) of which three are involved in the project (i.e., IFIP (pig), ITAVI (poultry), and CETIOM (oil plants). ATIs are involved in applied research, but also in field extension and training towards farmers or advisors. Their strength is to propose integrated and operational concepts to economic actors. These concepts are based on advanced research in compliance with major societal issues such as production chain sustainability.
