Abstract:

FeedUtiliGene is a free software tool that demonstrate the modelling of biological functions in pigs and poultry. It contains 6 modules: a digestion module, a parameter estimation module, a nutrient partitioning module simulating energy, amino acid, and phosphorus utilization, a fatty acid module for pigs, a robustness module, and a stochastic module.

For more information:

FeedUtiliGene was developed within the Feed-a-Gene project by a team of researchers from Kaposvár University, INRAE, Newcastle University, IRTA, Cobb and AFZ.
