During the Feed-a-Gene stakeholder meeting held at the EAAP annual meeting in Tallinn (August 2017), a series of 10 interviews of researchers associated with the project was filmed. In this second episode, Veronika Halas presents the approach of Feed-a-Gene's third Work Package. In episodes 3-9 (to be released in the following weeks), work package leaders and researchers will present the other Work Packages and the results obtained so far.
Jaap van Milgen, coordinator of the Feed-a-Gene programme, talked at the FOOD2030 conference of the European Commission, about feed efficiency and the role of livestock in sustainable food production. Feed-a-Gene's rationale and results were at the heart of his presentation. The entire conference was filmed and is available online.
