INRA is the national French Agricultural Research Institute and the INRA research units PEGASE (Rennes), URA (Tours), and GenPhySE (Toulouse) participate in the project as well as the experimental research unit UE PEAT (Tours) and the genomics and transcriptomics platform GeT Plage (Toulouse). The research units conduct research on animal biology and livestock systems to improve the sustainability and competitiveness of livestock production systems. Scientists in these units have expertise in nutrition, physiology, molecular and quantitative genetics, statistics, modelling and software development. INRA will ensure the coordination of the project (Dr. Jaap van Milgen).
